The Trustees of the foundation
meet semi-annually on the business day that falls on or closest to June 15 and
December 15. In order to be considered, please submit grant applications
30 days prior to the meeting date.
Eligibility Considerations
and Requirements
Grant applications will be
accepted only from organizations which are tax exempt under section 501(c)(3)
of the Internal Revenue Service Code. No grants to individuals can
be made. Only one grant per year to any agency is usually
considered. All grant requests must be submitted in writing and contain
the elements discussed below.
Grant Application
Procedures
The
foundation does not have grant application forms. To be considered for
assistance, an organization should write a brief one or two page letter
describing its proposal. The letter should include the objectives, time
schedule, budget and evaluation procedures. In addition, please submit
information describing the organization's leadership team and board of
trustees. A copy of the Determination Letter from the IRS
demonstrating 501(c)(3) status should accompany the application.
